Maryland NORML's Kevin Cranford, Chris Hirsch, & Beth Morgan with Major Neill Franklin of Law Enforcement Against Prohibition (LEAP)
We wish to provide education and resources to empower the citizens of Maryland to work with the Maryland General Assembly to ensure proper decriminalization and medical marijuana laws get passed.
This year, the 2014 session is in full swing. Finally we have started the push forward for marijuana legalization. Maryland NORML has joined forces with organizations across our state & country as a member of the historic Marijuana Policy Coaltion of Maryland.
We are proud to support The Maryland Control Act of 2014 submitted by Delegates Curt Anderson and Sheila Hixson which has bi-partisan support. While Governor O'Malley is against this tax and regulate bill, Maryland NORML is uniting the citizens of our state to let him know we want legalization now!
This session, be assured Maryland NORML is there to move this issue forward and make legal medical (for all) and recreational use of cannabis by responsible adults.

Our organization, the Maryland state chapter of the National Organization for Reform of Marijuana Laws, strives to educate the public and grow the movement toward marijuana legalization in Maryland. We also seek to help build, support and organize NORML chapters throughout the state in order to effectively communicate with one another to work toward our common goal.
